In 1978 Nelson joined forces with Bill Daniels taking the business over from Ed Athearn. Recently the company was purchased by the TriNav group and Nelson continues to work full time for the company. The son of a commercial fisherman, John has been involved in and around the fishing industry his entire life and has both inshore and offshore "first-hand" fishing experience.
